Mediation Training Programs at CDSCSince 1990, over 500 people have participated in CDSC's mediation training programs. We attract lawyers, mental health clinicians, educators and business professionals -- many of whom have joined CDSC's mediation panel.Basic Mediation TrainingThis 33-hour training is for attorneys, human resource specialists, educators, mental health clinicians, or business professionals who are interested in incorporating new skills into their current work or making a shift in their professional roles. Combining role play, exercises and presentations, this training provides hands-on skill development and meets the statutory requirements for mediator confidentiality related to the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 233, Section 23C. This 23-26 hour course is designed for mediators who are interested in the practice of divorce mediation. The training integrates substantive information with practice through interactive role playing experience.
